Burnished Clay Plate w/Mesoamerica Design

This unique burnished clay plate with traditional Mesoamerican 3 feet was made by Juan Martin Martinez Trejo, a young man from a well-known artisan family in Zinapécuaro, Michoacán. 

Primarily a decorative piece, it can be used with food e.g. nuts or cookies as it is food safe.
