Rustic bowls from Tzintzuntzan

$ 15.00

The naive drawings on traditional pottery from Tzintzuntzan are sought after by folk art collectors, and we were lucky to find some by Consuelo Rendon, one of the most well-known artisans of that village who is no longer living and her daughter Mago. They were made with glazes that contain lead, so we do not recommend using them for serving acidic foods such as salsa. But dry snacks like nuts would be fine, or use them to hold earrings or coins!

Medium bowl is approximately 5 in. diameter, 2 inches deep.

Mini bowls are approximately 4 in. diameter
