These bowls feature the traditional cream and black pottery from Tzintzuntzan, which young artisan Juan Miguel Teniente Morales learned from his family. Ofelia Gamez was his grandmother, Angela Morales Gamez and Leticia Morales Gamez are his aunts. He paints the traditional fish and swans, but Miguel has created some interesting new motifs, often influenced by Pre-Columbian designs.
These bowls are a perfect size for serving tortilla chips or a side dish. They are approximately 6 inches in diameter and are food safe.
