Embroidered Napkin/Guest Towel
Near Lake Patzcuaro, women embroider scenes of women cooking, men fishing, and other scenes of daily life in a Purepecha village, as well as traditional village dances. The pictures can be framed or are often made into clothing and decorative pillows. The embroiderers also make lovely hand towels like this one. Sadly these are the last pieces made by now deceased Roselia Barrigas, an incredible talent.
100% cotton, measure approximately 18 inches by 14inches. Hand wash is recommended.
