Near Lake Patzcuaro, women embroider scenes of women cooking, men fishing, and other scenes of daily life in a Purepecha village, as well as traditional village dances such as the Dance of the Viejitos, and festivals such as Dia de los Muertos. The pictures can be framed or are often made into clothing, decorative pillows, and other accessories.
This small purse is made of 100% cotton, and can be handwashed.
