Embroidered Hand Towel/Napkin SOLD
Near Lake Patzcuaro, women embroider scenes of women cooking, men fishing, and other scenes of daily life in a Purepecha village, as well as traditional village dances such as the Dance of the Viejitos, and festivals such as Dia de los Muertos. The pictures can be framed or are often made into clothing and decorative pillows. The embroiderers also make lovely hand towels like this one. It would also make a gorgeous napkin for bread or tortillas.
100% cotton, measure approximately 18 inches by 14inches. Hand wash is recommended.
