Huancito Clay Pots - Elena Felipe
These stunning burnished clay pots were made in the remote Michoacán village of Huancito. Like other pots and vases from that village they feature the traditional designs of flowers and birds, delicately painted free-hand. But these go beyond that, showing incredible detailed work by the artist, Great Master of Mexican Folk Art, Elena Felipe Felix. The pots were part of a torre de ollas (tower) that won First Prize in 2015 at the Ceramic competition in Tlaquepaque. We are offering the pots for sale individually-- each one makes a beautiful decorative piece for any home.
The smallest pot (#A310-1) is approximately 5 inches high and is signed by the artist.
Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing two or more of these pots as we can combine shipping charges. A ceramic base or ring is included with the largest pot (#A310-5)
