I have been a customer of Mexico By Hand for many years. And I LOVE all the unique pieces I have purchased from them. I especially enjoy the ceramics made by Manuel Morales, whose designs are wonderful. I have a collection of his assorted mugs with differing glaze designs and shapes, which I use daily for my morning cup of coffee. Additionally, I have another collection of his elegant soup bowls. I have used them when I entertain, serving winter soups. The fun part is I invite each guest to chose their own bowl which they delight in. These bowls complement my everyday Dansk Generation Mist dishes from the 1960's, as well as my treasured hand thrown pottery by Janaki Larsen. Her pieces are varied in their glazes and are the perfect foil for these one-of-a-kind bowls.
I love these bowls! So beautiful - I love using them to show off my latest fancy dinner creations on my Instagram. They're very sturdy and my husband and I use them all the time, especially for pasta dishes, grain bowls or stews.
