Handpainted Laca Compact Mirror

These are lovely little mirrors that were hand painted with a traditional technique from the Patzcuaro area known as "laca". The details may vary, but all mirrors feature flowers, gold leaf, and often butterflies that were painted free hand on (plastic) tortoise shell, with two mirrors inside.
