Beautifully painted clay cazuelas from Demetrio Gonzales and Raquel Ayala of Capula. This one is a very useful medium size and has a cute flower handle! You can cook with it in the oven or on the stove, and then serve food right on the table. Lead free, signed by the artisans. Designs may vary slightly.

Approximately 8 inches diameter, 2.5 inches high, capacity is  3 cups. Hand wash recommended.

Exceptional handcrafted dish

I have loved the beautiful work from the Ayala-Gonzalez workshop for years. My first piece of theirs, a small salsa dish, was purchased here. Over the years, I have collected several pieces which are always on the top of my list when choosing serving dishes, tableware, or cookware. I've gifted several pieces to friends and family with thrilled ooohs and aaahs.

I'm excited to use this dish for a small casserole, to hold a hot dip, or keep some steamed rice warm. Cooking and serving in clay gives a little something extra to the dish that can't be achieved in high-fired ceramics or metal.
