Burnished Coastal Bowl

The burnished pottery made on the Michoacán coast is gorgeous...and incredibly difficult to get! We're talking about a few tiny workshops that are about a days drive away, who make a very limited number of pieces each year. When we find something we like at a crafts fair we grab it immediately. This 3-footed bowl is smooth to the touch and features three carved fish. We suggest you use it to serve chips or crackers (dry foods) and for an extra $12 you can have two mini spice or salsa bowls from Capula to go with. A wonderful gift idea!
